Best Super Bowl Recipes
Even if you’re not a football fan, it’s hard to avoid the fact that the Super Bowl is this Sunday. I’ll tune into the game, but I’m really excited about the commercials that range from funny to tugging on heart-strings and of course, the best part ~ the football food. And Super Bowl food, like the game itself, is on a whole different playing field. That bag of chips and dip from the store just won’t do for this occasion but no worries, we have you covered with the 10 Best Super Bowl Recipes.
These Best Super Bowl Recipes are game winners. First up and in no particular order are Boozy Brownies because friends, there is absolutely nothing with wrong starting with dessert.
These delicious brownies start with a box of salted caramel brownie mix and a bottle of Jack Daniels and finishes for the win with rich, fudgy brownies complimented by the full, oaky flavor of Jack Daniels. To top it off (literally and figuratively) salted caramel with a kick of Jack Daniels drizzled over the top.
No Super Bowl party is complete without wings and here’s the recipe for the Ultimate Spicy Chicken Wings. Forget the wings the pizza guy delivers. Once you have these delicious, crispy spicy wings, you’ll never go back.
For a quick fix it and forget it dish, Beer Braised Chicken Sliders. Tender, juicy beer braised chicken pulled and tossed in a mildly spicy sauce and served on slider buns. So good they almost do their end zone dance.
Keep a batch warm in a slow cooker with sides of crispy cole slaw, crispy dill pickles and potato chips and let everyone serve themselves!
Next on the field ~ Spicy Beer Cheese Dip ~ creamy sharp cheddar infused with crispy bacon, beer and bits of jalapeno and green chilies. A total crowd pleaser that’ll have them cheering for you, even if it is just from the couch.
Now I don’t want to rush St. Patrick’s Day by sharing these Reuben Wonton Cupcakes ~ just think if it as a prelude to St. Patrick’s Day! Everything you love in a classic Reuben sandwich baked in a mini wonton cup. One of my most popular recipes!
Wonton wrappers come in packages of a gazillion so you’ll have plenty leftover from the Reuben Wontons for these Taco Cupcakes too. Tasty layers of seasoned beef, cheese, shredded cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and sour cream all in a mini wonton cup.
Another recipe that’ll leave you with plenty of time to watch the game and the commercials is Easy Spicy Beef Chili. You can even make it the day before (it’s actually even better reheated) and keep it warm in the slow cooker.
Serve the chili with shredded sharp cheddar cheese, diced onions and sour cream for guests to serve themselves and top as they like.
Sticking with the spicy theme and rounding out this ensemble is Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese for the touchdown — and that’s the game.
Happy Super Bowl Sunday and may the best dish, er team win!
