With almost zero effort you’ll be digging into a warm biscuit in just 8 minutes. Perfectly cooked, golden outside, light and fluffy inside – air frying is the ideal way to make these biscuits.

This simple recipe in your air fryer bakes biscuits in half the time of oven-baked. Slather with butter and your favorite jam, layer for a hearty breakfast sandwich or serve alongside your favorite dinner.

Why this recipe works:

  1. You don’t heat up the house air frying biscuits.
  2. Air fried biscuits are lightly crisp outside while still fluffy inside because the hot air circulates around them cooking them perfectly every time.
  3. They ‘bake’ in half the time the oven takes.

Ingredients needed for Air Fryer Biscuits:

  • 1 package jumbo refrigerated biscuits
  • cooking spray

NOTE: adjust cook time for smaller biscuits

How to make Air Fryer Biscuits:

Set the air fryer to 330° (no preheating needed) then lightly spray the air fryer basket.

Place the biscuits in the air fryer basket in a single layer leaving space between so the hot air can circulate and cook the biscuits evenly.

Air fry for 6 minutes then turn the biscuits over and continue air frying another 2 minutes. Remove the biscuits from the air fryer and enjoy right away. Cook time varies with air fryers and the size of the biscuits so watch closely the first time.

What to do with leftover biscuits:

Store any leftover biscuits in an airtight container or cling wrap in the refrigerator up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer on ‘reheat’ setting or in the microwave.

Make just one or two biscuits at a time and freeze the rest!  Separate the raw biscuits then lay them flat on a baking sheet so they don’t stick together.

Once they’re frozen solid, transfer them to a freezer bag and store in the freezer up to 2 months.

What kind of biscuits are best?

Any of the canned refrigerated biscuits found in grocery stores work well including the store brand/generic.

My favorite are the fluffy Pillsbury Grands Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits. Flaky Pillsbury biscuits are delicious too and air fry the same way.

What to serve with Air Fryer Biscuits:

These biscuits are a perfect addition with any of your favorite weeknight dinners. Below are a few suggestions:

Salisbury Steak – seasoned ground beef patties simmered in rich mushroom gravy. Serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles. Easy 30 minute meal.

Broccoli Cheese Soup – better than Panera – creamy, loaded with tender fresh broccoli in every bite and plenty of cheddar cheese. Ready in just 30 minutes.

Honey Balsamic Pork Tenderloin – tender juicy glazed pork tenderloin in just 20 minutes! Quick enough for weeknights – gourmet level for entertaining.

Slow Cooker Pot Roast – tender, juicy beef roast, potatoes and carrots plus a rich 5-star gravy. Easy slow-cooker recipe.
