Friends, get ready to be obsessed with these Cheeseburger Egg Rolls – they’re that good!
Egg roll wrappers loaded with seasoned ground beef, finely chopped dill pickles and plenty of melty cheese (um yes please!).
They’re air fried to golden, crispy deliciousness in about 10 minutes and whatever you do — don’t skip my copycat Big Mac sauce for the ultimate appetizer experience.
Air Fryer egg rolls are truly the perfect game-day — any day — appetizer, snack or meal.
Ground beef, gooey melty cheese, dill pickle and a ittle diced onions in every bite.
It’s like an entire cheeseburger packed into a crispy egg roll wrapper for a fun treat and best party appetizer.
WHAT’S IN AIR FRYER CHEESEBURGER EGG ROLLS?
- ground beef
- salt and pepper
- onion
- garlic powder
- worcestershire sauce
- yellow mustard
- ketchup
- finely diced dill pickles
- shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- egg roll wrappers
- nonstick spray (cooking spray)
HOMEMADE BIG MAC SAUCE:
For this special sauce, just add the ingredients to a small bowl. Whisk to combine well and refrigerate until you’re ready to eat.
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons pickle relish
HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER CHEESEBURGER EGG ROLLS:
Cheeseburger Filling:
To a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, salt, pepper, onion, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce.
Stir to combine and cook until the beef is no longer pink, breaking up the large chunks.
Add ketchup and mustard stirring to combine well then cook 1 minute.
Remove the skillet from the heat and drain any excess oil then blend in the cheese and pickle.
HOW TO ROLL EGG ROLLS:
Unwrap 8-10 egg roll wrappers. Add a little water to a small bowl (this is what you’ll use to seal the egg roll wrappers).
Work one sheet at a time and keep the remaining wrappers covered with a damp paper towel to keep them from becoming dry and brittle.
Place an egg roll wrapper with the corner facing you then add about 1/4 cup of meat mixture.
Using your finger or a pastry brush, add a dab of water to all edges of the egg roll wrapper then fold the bottom corner and make one complete turn.
Next fold in the right and left corners of the wrapper (it should look like an open envelope) pressing gently to seal and adding water as needed.
Continue rolling then press gently to seal all edges (this is important so the cheese doesn’t ooze out).
Air Frying THE EGG ROLLS:
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray then transfer egg rolls (place seam-side down) into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Spritz with cooking spray (or brush with olive oil) and air fryer 3-5 minutes.
Turn the egg rolls over, spritz again with cooking spray and air fry 3-4 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Remove from the air fryer then (if working in batches) cook the remaining egg rolls.
Eat right away with Big Mac Sauce, ketchup or mustard.
VARIATIONS, ADDITIONS AND SUBS:
- Add a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top (brush lightly with egg wash to help the seeds stick).
- Blend crispy bacon in the meat mixture for Bacon Cheeseburger Egg Rolls.
- Try ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
- Use fresh minced garlic instead of garlic powder.
HOW TO SERVE CHEESEBURGER EGG ROLLS:
I highly recommend my copycat Big Mac Sauce (recipe above). It’s absolutely delicious!
These egg rolls are also delicious eaten plain or dunked in ketchup, mustard or cheese dip plus a small dish of pickle chips.

- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 8-10 egg roll wrappers
- cooking spray
