TIPS AND ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  • Why add coconut oil? It helps the chocolate melt more smoothly.

HOW TO MAKE FROZEN CHOCOLATE BANANA YOGURT BITES:

Line mini muffin tin with paper liners then line baking sheet with parchment paper and set both aside.

In a medium bowl, blend plain Greek yogurt, honey and vanilla extract.

Peel bananas and slice into about 1/2″ rounds. Place banana slices on the baking sheet.

Top each banana slice with a small spoonful of the yogurt mixture then transfer baking sheet to the freezer for 15-20 minutes or until set.

To a small microwavable bowl add chocolate chips and coconut oil.

Microwave at 20 second internals until melted and smooth.

Spoon 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate into each paper liner.

Top with a pretzel then one frozen banana yogurt.

Spoon additional chocolate over the banana yogurt until just covered then (optional) sprinkle a little sea salt or try different toppings such as crushed pretzels or colored sprinkles over the top.

Return to the freezer one hour up to couple of hours or until completely frozen.

When you’re ready to eat, remove from the freezer and let them sit for 2-3 minutes.
