Crispy Baked Buffalo Wings
Crispy buffalo chicken wings marinated in spicy buttermilk and baked for bold, delicious flavor.

- 4 pounds chicken wings
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 package spicy ranch mix
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper OPTIONAL IF YOU WANT EXTRA SPICY!
Combine the buttermilk, buffalo sauce, ranch mix, salt and garlic powder in a medium bowl. *If you're including cayenne pepper, add it now.* Add the wings to the sauce turning repeatedly to evenly coat.
Cover and refrigerate 4-6 hours or overnight for best flavor.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil then place the baking rack on top. Spread the wings onto the sheet with space between them.
Bake for 20 minutes then turn them and bake another 20 minutes.
Next broil for 4-6 minutes, turn and broil another 4-6 minutes until crispy all over. TIME WILL VARY BY OVEN SO WATCH CAREFULLY. Check the thickest part of the largest drummy with an instant read thermometer looking for 165°.
Remove the wings from the oven and enjoy!
