Equipment

  • Large board, baking sheet or platter

Ingredients

  • fresh blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, bananas or seasonal fruit of your choice
  • variety of bagels
  • 1 pound cooked bacon strips cut in half for easier serving
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • granola homemade or your favorite store brand
  • 5-6 toaster belgian waffles
  • butter
  • maple syrup
  • cream cheese

Beverages:

  • coffee
  • mimosas
  • variety of juices orange, cranberry, grapefruit, pomegranate

Instructions

  • Cook the bacon or sausage. This can be done the day before. It only needs a few seconds in the microwave to reheat.
  • Gather plates, forks, knives, spoons and some festive napkins to create a serving buffet.
  • To assemble the board, add room temp items first (example: granola and fruit) followed by refrigerated items (yogurt) finishing with the bacon, toasted waffles and sliced bananas (so they don't brown). Toast the waffles while reheating the bacon in the microwave.
