Ingredients

  • 26 ounce frozen meatballs all beef used.
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce Sweet Baby Ray Sweet & Spicy used
  • 1/2 cup Vernors ginger ale regular or diet work

Instructions

  • Add barbecue sauce and Vernors ginger ale to the slow cooker Stir to blend then add frozen meatballs to the sauce (no need to thaw!), turning to coat them.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH 2 hours or until warmed through (may vary with the size of the meatballs).
    If you like a thicker sauce for your meatballs, remove the lid from the slow cooker after 2 hours and continue cooking 15-20 minutes to let some of the moisture escape.
  • Serve warm with toothpicks.

Notes

Don't overthink the process. Just the ingredients to the crockpot, turn it on and sit back and relax.
For a thicker sauce, remove the lid from the slow cooker for 15-20 minutes after 2 hours of cooking.
Make a double batch if you're feeding a crowd - they're always the first appetizer to disappear -plus they reheat well.
