Best Turkey Burger Sliders

- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- salt and black pepper
- 1 medium yellow onion peeled and diced
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons regular mayonnaise
- 8-10 whole pepper jack cheese slices
- 6-8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese or cheddar blend
- 12 slider rolls attached
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoon chipotle mayonnaise or to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, season lightly with salt and pepper and cook until softened and golden then transfer to a bowl and set aside.
To the same skillet, add turkey and season with 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, Cook until no longer pink then stir in regular mayo.
Butter a large baking sheet. Place slider roll bottoms on baking sheet then top with cheese slices, slightly overlapping.
Top with ground turkey, a drizzle of chipotle mayo, onions and shredded cheese. cheese slices.
Place top buns on leaving them attached. Melt butter in a small bowl. Stir in sesame seeds then brush the top of the buns with the butter mixture.
Bake 10–12 minutes at 350°. Serve warm with your favorite sides.
