Ingredients

  • 6 ounce package bread cheese cut in 1" cubes
  • 1/2 -1 tablespoon olive oil enough to cover bottom of skillet
  • 1 tablespoon honey or more to taste
  • 1 whole lemon cut in wedges
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate arils (seeds)

Instructions

  • Cut bread cheese into about 1" squares.
  • To a large skillet add 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of olive oil (enough to cover the bottom of the skillet you're using) over medium to medium-high heat.
  • Swirl the oil to coat the bottom of the skillet then add cheese in a single layer leaving a little room between pieces.
  • Saute cheese, turning until all sides are browned then remove from the skillet.
  • The cheese is ready to eat just as it is OR drizzle on honey, lemon juice and pomegranate seeds.
  • Serve right away with sliced baguette or pita.
