Calories:
- 1 1/2 to 2 pound flank steak trimmed of excess fat
- sea salt or kosher salt

Flank Steak Marinade:
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 3 large garlic cloves rough chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Marinate Steak:
Whisk marinade ingredients in a small bowl.
Trim flank steak of excess fat. If necessary, cut in half to fit in your air fryer. Add flank steak to a large ziplock bag then pour marinade over the top. Seal and refrigerate at least 2 hours up to 8 hours.
Take steak out of the fridge 15-30 minutes prior to cooking to let it come to room temperature. Remove steak from the bag and discard marinade and garlic cloves
Use paper towels to blot excess moisture from the steak then generously sprinkle salt on both sides.
Air Frying Steak:
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees then lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place steak in air air fryer. Cook 5-7 minutes on the first side then flip it over and continue cooking 5-7 minutes. (5 minutes is typical for medium rare as shown). Cook time will vary with desired doneness and thickness of your steak.
Remove steak from the air fryer. Let it rest 10 minutes to let juices reabsorb. Slice against the grain of the meat.
