Equipment

  • Air fryer

Ingredients

MEATBALL INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup onion finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper or to taste

Additional Items Needed:

  • cooking spray olive oil type used
  • large cutting board OR baking sheet to hold meatballs after rolling
  • parchment or wax paper line baking sheet for easy cleanup

Instructions

  • Add the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, onion, parsley, garlic, powder, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to a large bowl. Using your hands blend the turkey mixture together until combined without overmixing.
  • Using a small, 1" scooper (about 1 tablespoon) form the meatball mixture into balls, transferring to the baking sheet.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350° then lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry 7-9 minutes total, shaking the basket halfway through to turn the meatballs over and brown them evenly.
  • Remove from the air fryer when they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees (slightly less is okay because they’ll continue to cook after they’re removed from the AF).
  • See body of post for serving suggestions!
