  • ice cube trays
  • high powered blender

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups fresh apple cider
  • 3 ounces good quality bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

optional garnishes:

  • cinnamon sticks
  • apple slices
  • pomegranate seeds
  • fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  • Pour cider into ice cube trays. Freeze 4-6 hours or overnight (can prep up to 1 week ahead).
  • Add apple cider ice cubes to a blender along with the remaining ingredients.
  • Puree to a slushie consistency. Pour into glasses, (optional: add garnishes) and serve right away!
