- 2 1/4 cups fresh apple cider
- 3 ounces good quality bourbon
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
optional garnishes:
- cinnamon sticks
- apple slices
- pomegranate seeds
- fresh mint leaves
Pour cider into ice cube trays. Freeze 4-6 hours or overnight (can prep up to 1 week ahead).
Add apple cider ice cubes to a blender along with the remaining ingredients.
Puree to a slushie consistency. Pour into glasses, (optional: add garnishes) and serve right away!
