Instructions
AIR FRYER BANG BANG CHICKEN SKEWERS:
Blend olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, sea salt and pepper in a large bowl.
Add chicken pieces, toss to coat well then thread chicken onto skewers (3-4 pieces per skewer depending on the size of the skewers).
Combine Bang Bang Sauce ingredients in a small bowl then pour about a cup of the bang bang sauce into a separate bowl and set aside.
Brush sauce over all sides of the chicken (discard any remaining sauce in this bowl).
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees then lightly spray with cooking spray
Place skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer (work in batches if necessary). Cook 9-12 minutes or until golden and cooked through to an internal temperature of 165 degrees, turning the skewers over about halfway through cooking.
Remove from the air fryer then drizzle some of the reserved Bang Bang Sauce over the skewers. Serve right away with the extra sauce for dipping.
GRILLED BANG BANG CHICKEN SKEWERS:
Follow the instructions above (air fryer) for seasoning chicken, skewering and making the sauce.
Preheat your outdoor grill to medium-high heat (about 400 degrees) then lightly oil the grates.
Brush chicken skewers on all sides with Bang Bang Sauce from one of the bowls of sauce.
Place skewers on the preheated and oiled grill then cook 10-13 minutes total turning occasionally until the chicken reaches an internal temp of 165 degrees.
Remove skewers from the grill. Drizzle a little sauce over the top and serve with the remaining sauce for dipping.
