Best Caprese Skewers

Fresh cherry tomatoes, mozzarella pearls, basil leaves and a drizzle of tangy-sweet balsamic glaze - delicious no-cook easy, elegant appetizer.

Equipment

  • 4 to 6" skewers

Ingredients

  • 20 ounce container cherry tomatoes
  • 8 ounce mini mozzarella balls (pearls)
  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
  • 1 bottle balsamic glaze
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or more to taste
  • sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the tomatoes and basil really well and if your tomatoes are on the larger side, slice them in half. You want everything to be bite size so its easier to eat.
  • Skewer the ingredients leaving space at the bottom of the skewer as a handle. Just before serving, drizzle with olive oil, balsamic glaze and a sprinkle of sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper.
