Thanksgiving Apple Cider Sangria

Equipment

  • large pitcher

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle dry white wine sauvignon blanc used
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup  caramel vodka or more to taste
  • 2 medium apples cored and sliced/diced (honey crisp used -any crisp apples are good)

Instructions

  • Pour the wine, vodka and apple cider into a large pitcher. Give it a good stir then refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, stir again then add sliced or diced apples to glasses. Pour sangria over the top and serve (see optional garnishes below).

OPTIONAL GARNISHES:

  • * pomegranate seeds
    * rim the glass with caramel and sugar (see full description in post).
