Ingredients needed to make Buffalo Ranch Snack Mix:

  • wheat Chex
  • corn Chex
  • white cheddar Cheez-It crackers
  • Goldfish pretzels
  • unsalted dry roasted peanuts
  • Melba toast
  • butter
  • Frank’s buffalo wing sauce
  • Worchestershire sauce
  • packet original dry ranch dressing mix

How to make Buffalo Ranch Snack Mix:

In a large bowl (microwavable) add Chex, Cheez-Its, Goldfish, nuts and Melba toast then give it a gentle stir.

To a small microwavable bowl, add butter and Worcestershire sauce. Micro on HIGH 30 seconds or until the butter is melted. Stir in buffalo sauce and package of ranch mix until well combined.

Pour the sauce over the cereal mixture then gently stir being sure to scoop everything from the bottom so all the pieces are completely coated.

Microwave uncovered on HIGH 6 minutes, pausing to stir every 2 minutes.

Remove the cereal mixture from the microwave, spread it on a baking sheet in an even layer. Cover loosely with paper towel to cool, then store in an airtight container.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups corn Chex
  • 4 cups wheat Chex
  • 2 cups Cheez-It crackers white cheddar used
  • 2 cups Goldfish pretzels
  • 1 1/2 cups dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 1/2 cup Melba toast can substitute bagel crisps
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 ounce packet ranch dressing mix

Instructions
 

  • In a LARGE microwavable bowl, combine cereal, Cheez-Its, goldfish, nuts, and Melba toast.
  • In a SMALL microwavable bowl, add butter and worcestershire sauce. Cook on HIGH 30-40 seconds or until butter is melted then add buffalo sauce and package of ranch mix.
  • Stir until it’s blended well.
  • Pour sauce over the cereal mixture. Gently stir, scooping from the bottom and making sure all the pieces are coated. 
  • Microwave uncovered on HIGH 6 minutes, pausing to stir every 2 minutes.
  • Remove snack mix from the microwave and spread in an even layer to cool. Cover loosely with paper towels Store cooled mix in an airtight container on the counter.

  1. I think there is an error in the ingredient list. The last 2 items…should it simply be one packet ranch dressing mix?

  2. I love the addition of Franks hot sauce. I add even the substations and double the sauce. I mix it all in a small garbage bag it’s much easier than trying to stir it. I don’t nul it either I put it in the oven at 350 for 45 min then cool completely on towels. BEST RECIPE EVER!!!
