Best Caramel Apple Dip – easy no bake – just 4 ingredients! Lightly sweetened cream cheese, caramel sauce and crunchy chocolate toffee bits – served up with tangy sliced apples for the ultimate game day or fall party treat.

I was at a friend’s house recently for a fun girls’ night. It was a gorgeous summer night that cooled down just enough to enjoy cocktails around a fire.
My friend Joan brought this Caramel Apple Dip. It starts with a layer of lightly sweetened cream cheese and finishes with as much caramel sauce and chocolate toffee bits as it takes to improve your day.
We scooped it with tangy Granny Smith apple slices. Gooey – indulgent – irresistible and perfect anytime you’re craving caramel apples.

Why I love this recipe:
- Just 4 ingredients and 10 minutes
- Fall flavors we love in an easy sweet treat.
- Enjoy as an easy appetizer or dessert.
- Kid friendly – adults love this one too.
Ingredients needed to make Caramel Apple Dip:

- block cream cheese softened to room temperature
- powdered sugar
- vanilla extract
- caramel dip or to more taste
- Heath Chocolate English Toffee Bits
- Optional: flaky sea salt for finished dip just before serving.
How to make Caramel Apple Dip:
To a medium bowl, add softened cream cheese. Whip using a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.

Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla extract then spread cream cheese mixture evenly into a shallow bowl or baking dish.
Drizzle caramel sauce over the top then sprinkle with toffee bits.

Cover and refrigerate until party time but serve the dip at room temp so it’s dippable.
Optional – add a light sprinkle of flaky sea salt. Serve with sliced apples (wait to slice until just before serving so they don’t brown), sliced pears, pretzels, pretzel flats or graham crackers.

Storage:
Store leftovers covered with plastic wrap or store in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3 days. Remove from the fridge and bring to room temp before eating.foo
Subs and variations:
- I tested both Marzetti caramel dip and Ghiradelli caramel sauce. Marzetti (usually in the produce department near the apples this time of year) is a little thicker than caramel sauce – but either work well.
- Use brown sugar instead of powdered sugar.
- If you can’t find English Toffee Bits in your grocery store, buy Heath candy bars, add to a zip top bag and crush using a rolling pin or mallet.
- Swap English Toffee Bits for crushed peanuts, pecans or other nuts.
- Mini chocolate chips instead of toffee bits.
What to serve with Caramel Apple Dip:
- sliced granny smith or tart apple slices
- pretzels or flat pretzels
- sliced pears
- graham crackers
