- 8 ounces baby bella mushrooms
- 1 small onion
- 2-3 ounces goat cheese
- balsamic glaze
You’ll also need these kitchen staples:
- salt and black pepper
- a little olive oil (or another oil you already have on hand)

- 1 tablespoon butter
- worcestershire sauce
- dried or fresh herbs (thyme rosemary or dill)
- fresh parsley
How to make Mushroom Goat Cheese Flatbread:
1. Prep the flatbread
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Place flatbread on top, brush lightly wtih olive oil then place in preheated oven for 5 minutes or until flatbread is very lightly toasted. Remove from the oven and set aside.
2. Cooking the vegetables
Slice mushrooms. Peel and thinly slice the onion. Add olive oil and butter (if you don’t have butter, use all olive oil) to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Transfer onions to skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook 4-5 minutes or until light golden.




Add mushrooms to the same skillet with the onions over medium heat. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook 5-7 minute or until golden. Splash a tablespoon of worcestershire sauce over the mushroom mixture, give a good stir and cook 1 more minute.
3. Assemble and bake
Spread sauteed mushrooms and onions over the flatbead. Top with small dollops of goat cheese. Bake 6-7 minutes or until the cheese is softened and very light golden (optional: broil 1-2 minutes).


5. Finish and serve
Remove from the oven, drizzle balsamic glaze over the top. Optional garnish: fresh chopped parsley. Slice and serve warm to room temperature.
