Goat Cheese Blackerry Crostini – golden toasted baguette slices topped with creamy goat cheese, blackberry jam, fresh blackberries and mint. Easy, irresistible appetizer!

This simple Blackberry Goat Cheese Crostini recipe is my new favorite. Quick and easy – it’s the perfect addition to any gathering.
Golden brown crispy crostini topped with creamy, tangy goat cheese, blackberry jam and a sprig of fresh mint.

What do I need to make Goat Cheese Blackberry Crostini?

Goat Cheese Mixture and Toppings:
- goat cheese log
- cream cheese
- olive oil
- kosher salt or sea salt
- blackberry jam
Crostini:
- french baguette sliced and olive oil
Optional garnishes:
- fresh mint, aged balsamic reduction or balsamic glaze drizzled on top
How to make Goat Cheese Blackberry Crostini:
To the bowl of a food processor, add goat cheese, cream cheese and a pinch of salt.

Pulse a few times to break up the goat cheese then drizzle in the olive oil and blend until smooth pausing to scrape the sides. Transfer the goat cheese mixture to a small bowl.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Slice baguette into about 1/2 inch slices then transfer to a baking sheet in a single layer.
Lightly brush each baguette slice with olive oil then bake 4-5 minutes or until golden and lightly toasted.

Remove toasted bread from the oven. Cool to room temp the top with a spoonful of the whipped goat cheese mixture.

Add about a heaping 1/2 teaspoon of jam to the top of the goat cheese, then press a blackberry into the jam.

Top with fresh mint leaves then serve the goat cheese toasts right away.
Optional: add a light drizzle of balsamic vinegar (a little goes a long way!) over the top.
Why I love this recipe:
- It’s a perfect appetizer for entertaining because you can even serve at room temperature!
- The combination of simple whipped goat cheese spread, a dollop of blackberry jam and some fresh blackberries is a flavor explosion.
- From that first decadent bite you’ll want to make these simple appetizers on repeat.
- This crostini appetizer whips up quickly so it’s ideal for last minute or impromptu gatherings.
- You can make the goat cheese mixture ahead of time and refrigerate it up to 3 days.

More easy party appetizers:

Subs and variations to this recipe:

- Drizzle a little honey over the top instead of balsamic vinegar.
- Substitute feta cheese instead of goat cheese.
- Try other fresh berries and fresh fruits like blueberries, raspberries, strawberries or figs.
- Use fresh thyme, fresh basil or a sprig of fresh rosemary instead of mint.
- Add the zest from half of one lemon for a light citrusy flavor.
- A high speed blender can be used if you don’t have a food processor.
How to store leftovers:
This appetizer is best eaten when it’s freshly made but if you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for a couple of days.
The bread won’t be as crisp but they’ll still be good.
Enjoy!
