Do I need to add oil?
No extra oil is needed for this recipe. Both fresh and frozen sausage patties have enough fat so they won’t stick to the air fryer basket.
How to make Air Fryer Sausage Patties:
Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees. Add sausage patties in a single layer.
Cook for 5 minutes then use tongs and turn sausage patties over. Cook another 3 minutes or until they’re a nice golden brown color and the internal temperature is 160 degrees on an instant-read thermometer.
Cooking time will vary with air fryers and the exact size of your sausage patties so keep an eye on them after turning them over.
Remove from the air fryer and eat right away.
